Further notes:

In Quebec, the first Rubik's Cube Championship was held on February 21, 1982 
at the Montreal Youth Show.

Toronto contest location was at the Yorkdale Mall in the 
Simpson's department store.

The Calgary contest location was at the Mount Royal Village
Mall near downtown Calgary.

Maritimes final was shown on the popular children's show
"Switchback" which was produced by CBHT. Fastest cubists 
from New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and 
Nova Scotia participated.
